Mr. Suhartono Chandra is the Founder and CEO of Paramount Consulting Group. He holds Master degree in Marketing Management and has 31 years experience as practitioner and consultant. He started his career in 1986 as teacher for mathematics and physics subjects in junior and senior highschool. In 1991 he turned his career as a sales engginer for B2B business. Then his career was continuing to sales management both consumer and industrial products, distribution/channel management, human resources management, training, and marketing practitioner for about 14 years until 2004. The embrio of Paramount Consulting Group was started in 2004. At that time Mr. Suhartono Chandra joined Frontier Consulting Group, a well known consulting firm which is founded by Mr. Handi Irawan D. About 9 years (2004-2012) Mr. Suhartono Chandra served as trainer, marketing consultant, and marketing research consultant. During his tenure he involved in many projects. The projects cover a wide range of industries, such as consumer goods (Tango, Mie Kare, Oops), knockdown furniture (Olympic), distribution (Enseval-Kalbe Winning Team Division), cement (Semen Tiga Roda), telecommunication (Telkom, TelkomFlexi, Telkomsel, Excelcomindo), banking (Bank Mandiri, LippoBank before merged with Bank Niaga), insurance (Adira Insurance, Asuransi Jasindo), multifinance (BCA Finance, WOM Finance), jewelerry (Frank&co), spareparts (Astra Oto Parts) are some of the projects he involved. In 2013 Mr. Suhartono Chandra was transfered to MARKETING Group, a subsidiary of Frontier Group, as Managing Director. MARKETING Group has several unit businesses such as MARKETING magazine, Property-In magazine, market research agency (SurveyOne), and event organizer. Beside managed all the businesses of the group Mr. Suhartono Chandra also applied his expertise as speaker, trainer, and consultant. Some of his clients are Semen Gresik, Tissue Tessa, KidZania, Bank Mandiri, Bank Permata, Bank Artha Graha, Bank Kalsel, Denso Indonesia, PP Property, Pertamina, Patra Trading. He resigned from the company by the end of 2015 and started his own consulting firm.
Rifqi Alam graduated from Universitas Indonesia, Faculty of Economics and holds Master Degree in Marketing Management from STEKPI (2008). He is co-founder of Bright IMC, an agency which is established in 2008 Bright IMC’s services cover all elements in integrated marketing communication such as digital, production, advertising, public relations, event organizer, brand activation and marketing campaign. Rifqi believes that the right combination of online and offline (O2O) will give the best result in marketing communication. Bright IMC has in-house digital team to have better service to the clients. In his role as Account Director at Bright IMC, Rifqi responsible for overseeing all strategic output of the agency. He also be working closely with specialists of all departments across digital, marketing, PR and activation to ensure all strategies are aligned with their respective brand goals. With over 10 years of experience in the advertising and brand communications business, Rifqi has worked on clients across multiple categories including services industry, personal care, household products, FMCG, tobacco, pharmaceutical, oil and gas. He was also instrumental in growing brands such as Agung Podomoro Land, Bank BRI, Mayora, Djarum,Samsung,Kalbe, Pacific Paint and Amanda Brownies. Suhartono Chandra, President of AMA-DKI Jakarta said “With Rifqi’s diverse experience across agencies, marketing and research, we look forward to having him on our team to achieve greater heights together for our clients’ businesses.” Rifqi also held Executive Vice President – Marketing Communication at AMA- DKI Jakarta.
In search of the best company’s strategic move we should analyse business environment analysis and acknowledge wheter current and future company’s capabilities fit to rapid changing of business environment. Corporate level analysis is needed to have helicopter view of the company, competition, competitor, and customer. In this phase finetuning company vision, mission, and philosophy sometime is needed. Business level analysis covers several strategic issues, such as current business model, competitive advantage, strengths and weaknesses, and threats and opportunities as well. We assists clients in determining corporate objectives and the strategy needed. The strategy option then will be divided into more specific strategies. Strategic Brand Management: Brand is the most important asset to a company. A strong and healthy brand will generates many advantages both in strategic level and tactical level as well. Therefore company should manage their brands properly. In digital age, brand management should involve online and offline (O2O) activities. Integration on both activities is an important issue. Grand Marketing Strategy: This covers three strategic issues at business level, i.e. segmentation, targeting, and positioning. Segmentation is the way we see the market. Better market segmentation will give us better opportunity to choose segments to be served and gain advantages better than competitors. Nowaday digital approach in brand positioning is inevitable. It is more challenging but at the same time give us more alternatives to do that better and faster than before. Product Strategy: Exploring product strategy covers strategic decisions such as core product/service, basic, expected, augmented, and potential product which are match to customer needs and superior than competitor’s offering. Pricing Strategy: Price is what a customer must give up to get the benefits offered by the company. It plays a direct rate in shopping customer value. We assist our clients formulating the strategy options and exploring the concept of value pricing. Channel Strategy: Channel options is crucial aspect in a free market. It is in the marketing channel that the process and dynamics of competition take place and the success or failure of enterprises and individual initiatives is determined. Promotion Strategy: Promotion is the coordination of all company-initiated effort to set up channels of information and persuasion in order to sell goods and services or promote an idea. Promotional mix (advertising, direct marketing, interactive/internet marketing, sales promotion, personal selling, public relations) is the basic tools used to accomplish company’s communication objective.
